Commissioned by legendary recorder virtuoso Michala Petri, A Pacifying Weapon was premiered in Copenhagen with the Royal Danish Conservatory Orchestra under the direction of Jean Thorel. It was recorded over two days in Copenhagen for its critically-acclaimed release on Our Recordings, producer Preben Ewen.
